NSK is pleased to announce the launch of Ti-Max Z990L / Z890L air turbines. These new Ti-Max Z series air turbines are NSK’s flagship models and feature a high power output of 44W*.
In response to user demand for cutting harder materials, such as zirconia, with air turbines, NSK has developed an air turbine with higher cutting power. The new DYNAMIC POWER SYSTEM** enables time-consuming zirconia removal to be carried out smoothly. The shorter treatment time not only reduces the burden on the patient, but also contributes to more efficient treatment for the dental practice by significantly saving chair time.

NSK is pleased to announce the release of the Surgic AP2, NSK's surgical micromotor system. With a new, cutting-edge design, the Surgic AP2 has incorporated an LCD panel in the display, achieving a significant improvement in visibility and operability. While several features have been added and enhanced compared to previous models, the weight and size of the motor and handpiece have been reduced, significantly improving the ergonomic design and ease of use while simultaneously increasing power and safety. Furthermore, the addition of a wireless foot control allows for unprecedented convenience and accessibility.
NSK has reached out to definitive agreement to indirectly purchase 51% of the membership interests of DCI International, LLC (“DCI”). As a result of this transaction, 100% of DCI’s membership interests will be held by NSK.
This strategic combination unlocks further growth potential of NSK and DCI to serve customers better and compete in the dental industry, especially in the U.S. market. The whole DCI management team will stay in the company. In addition, the DCI brand and sales channels will stay as is.

On the 30th November 2018, Nakanishi Inc. came into ownership of Diagnostics Sweden AB (IDSAB), locaded in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a manufacturer, IDSAB developes vibration testers to measure stability of dental implants.
Through the acquision, Nakanishi Inc. will be contributing to the further development of innovative dental devices.
We are pleased to announce NSK 88th anniversary event welcomed 150 guests from 36 countries on 22nd and 23rd Oct 2018.
We delivered the NSK history, our current situation and our commitment for the future, and introduced our new head office and R&D center, "RD1", and new factory "A1". Our guests from globe had experienced our own worldview of "NSK brand" and we finished the event in great success.
NSK completed construction of new factory A1 on 1st of March 2018 and has started running its full operations.
This A1 is the largest production base in our history, and is aimed to greatly improve capability and efficiency of production as well as quality of product. A large number of production processes dispersed over multiple buildings had been consolidated into one building in order to construct an optimized production line.
As a global leading company, NSK will continue to provide innovative products that delight and excite our customers in a timely manner.
We are pleased to announce the opening of the new Research & Development (R&D) center building, "RD1" on 11 April 2017. Its primary function is to provide a facility that will ensure more efficient operations and R&D functions and deliver innovative products in a timely manner. Within the new building will be a showroom for guests from all over the world and a symposium facility that can accommodate 400 people allowing us to enhance our innovation progress.
The RD1 operation contributes to NSK's continuous growth through management of three key areas being development, manufacturing and sales.
