Air and powder come out of the handpiece joint section when the handpiece is removed and air is supplied.
The handpiece is clogged with powder, so loosen the nozzle with the attached nozzle wrench, and remove the nozzle from the handpiece. Clean the tip of the nozzle with the attached nozzle wire (small), and its root with the nozzle wire (large). Also, clean the inside of the handpiece with the cleaning wire. In the case of not passing regardless of the above cleaning, perform ultrasonic cleaning with hot water.

Air and powder do not come out of the powder case even when the handpiece is removed and air is supplied.
The handpiece is clogged with powder probably, so pass the cleaning wire through the hole in the center of the tip of the handpiece joint section of the powder case while rotating it, and also clean the inlets of the inner nozzles with the nozzle wire (large). In the case of not passing powder and air regardless of the above cleaning, perform ultrasonic cleaning with hot water.

Cleaning powder is partially solidified in the handpiece or powder case, narrowing the passage.
Cleaning powder was partially solidified due to moisture, etc., in the air line, so perform cleaning by inserting the attached nozzle wire (small) while rotating it, and blow off any internally remaining powder with air. If this still does not cause improvement, perform ultrasonic cleaning with hot water. After that, perform thorough drying before use.

If powder and air do not flow after performing the above cleaning, perform Ultrasonic Cleaning with hot water.

When the Handpiece is removed and air is supplied, air and powder do not come out of the Powder Case.
The inside of the Nozzle Tip is clogged with powder, so insert the Cleaning wire (large) into the center hole on the end of the Handpiece section connection of the Powder Case while turning the Wire and clean the inside. In addition, clean the Internal Nozzle in the Powder Case with the cleaning file. If powder and air do not flow after performing the above cleaning, perform Ultrasonic Cleaning with hot water.

Powder has partially solidifed in the Handpiece or in some part in the Powder Case, reducing the passage width.
Powder has partially solidified with water, etc., in the middle of the air passage, so clean with the supplied Cleaning wire or cleaning file (see the above figure) and blow air to remove the remaining powder inside. If the problem is not resolved, perform Ultrasonic Cleaning with hot water. Then, tho roughly dry the inside before use.

Powder has partially solidified in the Powder Case.
Powder has long been opened and exposed to air, so replace powder with new powder. Or water is mixed in supply air, so if you use the model for PHATELUS coupling or MACH coupling, confirm that the O-ring is not damaged in the coupling joint section. If the O-ring is damaged, replace it. If your model is other than those for PHATELUS and MACH couplings, confirm the coupling for use.

After O-ring replacement, securely tighten the Taper Ring. If tightening of the Taper Ring is not sufficient, the Powder Case may be ejected during use.

Open the filter in the air supply circuit, and the drain in the compressor, and check that water has not accumulated.

QWater leaks from between the Handpiece and Powder Case. - TS17468

Power on the Control Unit within pressing the Foot Pedal.
Solution
Power on the Control Unit without pressing the Foot Pedal. When it does not work definitely, take off the Foot Pedal cord plug from the Control Unit and Power it on. If it does not operate correctly, ask for your dealer. Even after you tried above and the Control Unit could not operate normally, contact your Authorized NSK Dealer.
